Minutes to the river

Measured along the route a boat actually travels — turn by turn, not straight-line. Every parcel in Units 1–6, with the time computed for your boat rather than an average one.

How this is measured. Distance is taken along the navigable route to the Caloosahatchee, following the canals as a boat must. It is never a straight line, and it is never the number from a previous listing. Times assume minimum-wake speed throughout, which is what the canal system requires. A longer boat covers the same distance faster because minimum-wake speed scales with waterline length — and waterline length is not the length on the brochure.
